Guage Opinions

I just bought a 2007 3500 QC dually and I am looking for guages. I had an outlook monitor in my 04 and it worked fine. This time I am looking at analog guages and the tripple pillar mount. I live in Lethbridge Alberta Canada and the guages around here are alot of money and trying to find someone to put them in is like pulling teeth. I am leaning towards getting the issopro guage set from diesel manor. My question is has anyone from Canada ordered from the and how hard is it to install the guages yourself??? Thanx for any and all advice. PS Pyro Boost And Tranny Guages

I haven't ordered from them, I bought my Autometer gauges and 3 pod from my dealership and let them do the install (thinking warranty) all for $650 installed....they even dim with the lights...

I ordered my DiPricols from Diesel Manor, I think they're closer to the factory gauges but cost about $100 more than the Isspros.
Call Dave there when you order, ask him to ship up via USPS instead of using a courier or you'll get nailed for "brokerage fees" which is a total rip off.
Using USPS you only pay GST since you guys in Alberta don't have a provincial sales tax.

Install is not to hard if you're a 'do it yourselfer'. I was nervous about drilling the manifold and spent a long time trying to drop the turbo, but there's 1 nut I couldn't get undone so I ended up just drilling it with a very small bit, moving up gradually using grease on the bits to catch the filings. Lotsa bit cleaning and re-greasing. When done I spun the turbo with my fingers (also took the silencer ring off at same time), started it up to blow crap out hole. Tapped using grease again, blew it out again, worked great.
Lotsa pics in my gallery, let me know if you need more info.

Thanx for the help. I ordered a set of the isspro gauges from Diesel Manor. Now I just have to wait for them to show up and try to get them in. I may have more questions .

I just installed the issopro kit from diesel manor, and it was not that bad at all. If you have a auto tranny I would suggest getting the cooler line replacement for the tranny temp. Sooooo easy to install and you get a more accurate read on the gauge. The boost bolt is a simple install and run the line. The pyro was the only tough part me, I decided to drop the turbo just to be sure. Some of the nuts on the turbo flange were a pain to remove!! But I got it done, and they work great. The wiring was simple to follow as well, if you have any questions just pm me, I put them in about a month ago so it is all fresh in the head! Good Luck.
