granatelli mileage miser 3 mpg guaranteed!

just ordered my granatelli big G mileage miser mudule yesterday overnight mail and will have it today and Im leaving for a 600 mile trip today. we shall see if this thing does give you a guaranteed 3 miles per gallon increase as they advertise. thats what they say anyway, " 3mpg increase guaranteed or your money back!" it also adds 50hp and 150ft of torque and all this without voiding your manufacturers drive train warranty. anyway , I will know tomorrow

received the big g this morning and was amazed how light the thing was . felt like there was nothing in it so being the curious guy I am I had to take a look. I found that under a bar code sticker on the back there was a single screw so I carefully peeled the sticker back and opened it up andguess what I found??? a printed circuit board with the words "QUADZILLA XZILLERAIDER "PRINTED ON IT! WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THAT?

I had hurd of this before. I guess the real question is will it get you the 3 mpg. I dout it will. But you could see 2. Make sure you hand calculate and not go off the overhead. The chips screw with the overheads bad. Keep us posted on the results.

this thing has NO adjustments, just a light that comes on when you start the truck. I can take a picture and post in on here if you want me to. thats exactly what it says on the pc board. anyway its all installedand the truck seems to run fine and Im off to fuel up. I will hand calculate and post on monday. keep your fingers crossed. talked to granatelli on the phone yesterday and they say they have only been out a short time but have sold lots of them already and have not had one person want to return the unit. they even told me I will gain 3 mpg while towing. this thing is probably just a quadzilla xzillerator permanentally set in the lowest position. anyway , if it works it works. will let you know

Your warranty won't be voided until you have to take it to the dealer for warranty work. I know first hand it happend to me! If you want to know for sure call DC or Star and see what they tell you.

It's a module not a programmer. I used to run a Quad race box and when I ran it on the low setting (65hp) I actually gained like 1 mpg. That's the only box that ever gave me any gains. The XZT is timing only (I think) and that's why it should give you some MPG gain...
