Got on the rollers

at the DPM shoot out and it looks like tnt-r does make more power than beta 4.4. Made 589hp a year ago with 4.4 same place, same weather and same dyno. This year 619 with tnt-r.

Nice comparison, I know that will be helpful to a lot of people.

How did the shape of the curve compare?

Billy I think it was a LOT hotter there last year... no breeze and much higher humidity. I thought you changed turbos too ?

According to Bob, the 4.4 wasn't meant to be a powerful program as it was designed more for the guys out west that towing big loads at elevation. It runs cooler than the 4.2 and 4.3

The comparison I'd like to see if TNT/R and 4.2. I thought of doing it this past weekend but, did want to chance ruining my runs.

The hp curve was flat and was still making over 500 hp where the 4.4 signed off.
I'm still running the same old sledpuller 66 thats been on the truck for several years.

TNTR does more than 4. anything. I have witnessed 4.2 and 4.4. Heard about 4.3.

It must be crappy programming to do 850 hp...or more....Llyod's truck, Tim Barber's truck...Al B's...etc....well in the 1k plus range.

I must have my panties in a bunch...so I am just going to stay off these TNT and TNTR stinks threads...

The numbers were with the Wicked 70% pump. The Stage I pump wouldn't keep up with tnt-r.
I ran the 4.2 on the street but wasn't about to do a boosted launch at the strip. 4.2 has little if any torque management and would be a parts breaker.
4.2 would light up my tires with out trying.

I am pretty sure peak numbers are very very close with 4.2 4.3 and 4.4, the curve is the main diff in those SWs. Your right about 4.4 bein the towing sw but it turned out to be a lil stronger then anticipated.
