No prob Boyd, If your parts guy scratches his head don't worry it IS a good number, just tell them its an interior trim piece. An avg cost is 40.00 bucks.

I'm gonna monitor trans temp and EGT in mine with a dual SPA digital gauge or a dual Westach analog. Haven't totally made up my mine there.

remember when drilling into the manifold there is a crosser in the middle of the flage area. Drill from the middle to the back or front. I found out the hard way. If you have lots of time you can try to tap on an angle.

PADZZ,

Hard to tell in the photos, but it appears the gauge matches the dash well in the light?

Does it also match well in the dark with lights on?

Also, what I thought was a part number for the gauge apparently wasn't correct. Could I trouble you for that number?

Thanks in advance.

Anyone have a part # for the SRT EGT gauge

I've got my SRT pillar on order now I need the EGT gauge and need the part number for the gauge only.

Part # is P4510430 for the EGT Gauge. The lighting isn't exactly the same as the stock gauges, but still looks good. The green color is a very close match. If it was lit from behind instead of arounf the bezel, it would look better.

What asubject to stsrt a argument with ! IMO the best place for the probe is PRE-TURBO. Better to see what the gas temps that the turbo IS exposed to rather than guessing what the turbo HAD been exposed to. Plenty of people on both sides, specifically when deciding on what cylinder/s to sample.....So post turbo has its merit !

I didn't know DC had an EGT gauge...maybe a better match and price too would be this one:

I'm gonna put my probe pre turbo monitoring the rear hottest cylinders cuz I don't want more than 1250 continuous on those thin turbo blades.

That doesn't look too bad. One thing I really like about the SRT is it has a silver bezel, not black. The silver matches the rest of the interior better than the black would.

They do make the above gauge with a chrome bezel but that might be kinda flashy vs silver.

Matt400,

Is that a Di-Pricol? It looks sharp.

I'm trying to decide between that and Westach's boost/egt combo in white face.

Sure wish they made a boost/EGT/fuel pressure combo job that matched Dodge's dash...

Jeff,
Take a look in my photo gallery for pics of the Westach combo gauge installation. That may help you decide.

Same here...I narrowed it this way-
The pod is off by itself so a perfect match is not as important as having a dual gauge for me so that meant Westach or S.P.A.

The S.P.A. is 200 more but has high memory recall, user selected warning lamps and reads into the tenths ie. 28.7 lbs boost.
The adjustable back light should- I hope be a little more user friendly in getting the brightness I want.

Sure wish they made a boost/EGT/fuel pressure combo job that matched Dodge's dash...
Yes that would be nice, heck even a single digital with a 3 position switch would be nice to select between the different read outs.

I am going to go with a S.P.A. Boost/EGT and am working on a high temp warning lamp for the trans as the factory lamp @ 275 deg I think is too high in time to pull over and let it cool.

I'm still waiting on better match to the dash so I stuffed an old Hewitt gauge in the pod...
