Angry Got my new Quadzilla 140hp box..

Just kidding!! This thing is SWEEEEETT!!!!! The great thing is that I can run on the 140hp setting and the EGTs don't even get high at all. I guess these SOs aren't so bad after all. Maybe all that money and time I spent on the intake and exhaust had something to do with it too. I almost made a big mistake though. While I was unhooking the EZ and hooking up the Quad I got in a hurry to test drive it and left the EZ sitting on the fuse box unplugged. Man was I glad to see it still there when I popped the hood..

Very nice smooth power from a stop but still a little bit of turbo lag once you're rolling. I love the in-cab adjustability and this pig flies now!!!.....

Ez and xzillaraider you really cant even compare and egts are very managable. Did some testing over the weekend in a 04 with a afe stage 1 intake, cool blue intake hose, guages and stock exhaust we started from a stand still truck was a six speed stood on it a little black cloud and lots of tire smoke truck ripped through the gears all the way to 100mph egts never went over 1250. The xzillaraider was the race version 140hp. Testing sure is fun

I just upgraded from the EZ to the 140 box today. The Quad box on the 60hp setting is like the EZ on the highest setting. I had the Quad box on the 100hp setting from a roll and the EGT held at 1400 as long as I held it down. On the 140 hp setting in OD with the convertor locked this truck is an animal. I can't tell you what the EGT were because I couldn't hold it floored for very long. So far I'm very impressed. I'm a little scared for my trans now.

Well, for one thing, I got some smoke at full throttle!! The 60hp setting is a little weaker than my EZ at level 4. I haven't tried the 100hp setting yet. The 140 hp setting is just really nice. The power comes on nice and smoothly and then it just keeps on coming and coming........ Did I mention that I got smoke at full throttle?!?! I've only put 20 miles on the truck so far and I'm gonna fill up this morning to check the mileage. The overhead say I'm now getting 23 mpg!! Boy, I sure wish it were true! I will be happy with any gain in mpg...... Also, I think I will need new tires soon.......
