Got my Edge Juice... wheres the juevos and the smoke?

Installed the juice kit today on the 06 an am runnin on EXTREME (level 5) but there isnt much ***** behind it. My04.5 with the bullydog power pup on the 90hp setting had more ***** and more smoke. I barely get any smoke on all the levels...maybe I need hot juice. Anyone else not impressed with the kit?

Mine sets you back in the seat at any speed or rpm. If you want smoke, you have to go into the sub menu and there is adjustments for each of the five main settings. Trust me, on level 5 with the sub menu level set on 5, it smokes.
However, that's not stopping me from sending mine in for the HOT update - I'm taking it off on Monday to ship.

what do yall think is needed to safely run the Hot Juice? fuel system upgrade? turbo?

My Juice/A2 is scheduled to be put in next week along with a DTT tranny, AFE Stage II, and a FASS 150gph. I'm highly considering get the Hot upgrade right off the bat.

Your soon to be mods will set you up fine to support the hot juice . The only thing I would say is the stock turbo will not be able to keep up with all the added fuel from the hot juice....

Not Impressed???? Mine is updated to HOT or EXTREME -whatever. The tech at Edge wrote EXTREME update on mine so Ill call it EXTREME. Even on race setting level 4 I can smoke 2 tires and a tailpipe. On the Extreme level 5 I can smoke 4 tires and black out a parking lot. I have the menu set on most smoke and performance though. I have to say I am super impressed with the EDGE JUICE for my truck. Only problem I got is defuel TQ management at launch. Solving that with a BD race box though.

Man, im getting a little bit of smoke on the 100hp setting (stock level 5)...the hot juice on the previous versions had to be sent in and they reprogram the level 5 to the hot (160hp), but the 06 version gets a level 6. My bullydog probably smoked 3 times as much on the same settings (90hp bully vs 100hp edge). Maybe Im expecting to much...I ran my old truck 24/7 on bullydog 150hp extreme.

8mpg if you still have your BDPP just stack the two nd then it will really smoke. Ask me how I know. The stock turbo is fine even with the "HOT" Juice. I've got dyno proven 500+hp truck still on the stock turbo. And I still haven't upgraded to the HOT program. An upgraded turbo is on it's way though, only cause with all the unburned fuel and smoke i see now, I prob got 50hp of untapped power that is not being utilized.

The reson you don't feel the power of the Edge more is cause they are not as aggressive in pressure and timming on the low end like the Bully Dog, and has alot better and smoother top end. Belive me I know. I've done quite a few timed runs using that 1/4mi timer on the Edge. I thought the same thing, that the BDPP had more pwer on 90hp than the Edge does at 100hp. every run i have done on those 2 individual settings prove otherwise however. The power of the BDPP comes on quicker, but dies off sooner also and has a flat spot around 80-90mph. The Edge has a lot smoother transition and much bettter midrange without the crazy throttle respose. And when I have them both on, well just hold on to your hats cause I'm outa there

well the low end vs midrange/high with edge does make sense. With the juice on 5, it has some get up and go but its higher in the rpm range. Im used to the power pup where performance starts at 1000rpm. We will see what the hot juice does (its an excuse to finally join TDR) and see how it works. I might end up sellin the j/a (im to poor to stack $700 boxes)
