Good Lookin'!

I was screwing around on ebay and came across this truck:

It made me fall in love with the blackrims with the chrome "rings." think I'm in love with the way that thing is setup (except the crappy suspension). That is all

looks good. I am going down the road with blacking out my truck. I have not decided on the wheels yet.

I may just paint the spokes of stock aluminum ones black and see if I like that. if I dont, I will just get them powercoated.

but

After seeing this, I like the beadlock set up also. wonder which wheels those are.

I am joining the "Blacked Out Club" too. I have already debadged mine. Currently I am waiting on a Frontier rear bumper (black powdercoat) and looking for a black "sport" grill.

Haven't decided on the wheels but may powdercoat the stocker rims or look at some other options if they ever come out with proper backspacing.

Genros I kinda like the look of your rims with no caps. I may pull mine off and ride it a while and see what I think.

Genros, nice truck. I am trying to get there my self. I did not start with a sport though. One thing you may try to complete the look is to powercoat the lug nuts. I did this still on my stock aluminum wheels and they look good. I also painted my hubs black. I will post some pictures later today after I clean it up.

TexaxCTD, I just picket us a grill from a ST. I just painted it black with the new paint for plastic. $50 from a guy who put a chrome grill on his.
What and where did you get the Frontier rear bumper? I am also considering power coating the back bumper. I have seen stock black ones going for about $250 on ebay.
As for wheels, I am still in the same place as you. I have three sets of wheels now. H2s, Polished stock aluminum, painted Stock aluminum. The painted ones may get painted today to see how I like it. A quick and easy try before you commit to powder coating. I may also go with the H2s. Then there are the new centerlines. At least there are some wheel choices now.

I will also do some more painting today. I plan on pulling the mirrors off and painting them with the Krylon Fusion paint for plastic. This can also be done on the door handles.

I also went one step farther. At one point I was just going to go with black and chrome. But then I put the Buckstop bumper on the front. I had ordered polished aluminum door handles. Well I powder coated them and have them on the truck now. They look good and are a subtle touch. Not many people will notice, but I like it.

I will try and get some pictures up later today. Must be time to paint, clean and wax the beast.

Well long post, I need to get to work.
Bruce

Bruce.....Very nice looking truck. I wish I had the money for that suspension.
I haven't really thought about a "ST" grill. Maybe I can find one and paint it. My grill wouldn't be that noticable anyway with the Ranch Hand blocking most of the view.

I haven't got my Frontier yet. They were out of the bumper that I want which is the Rear Diamondback w/lights. Just waiting on them to come in. Here is their website.

I don't know where you are located, but you can see if they have a dealer someplace near you.

Ohh....(on edit)...the reason I want the Frontier Diamond Back, is because you can keep the factory receiver hitch. If you go to a pipe bumper, you lose capacity. For example with Ranch Hand you go down to 10,000lbs and all the way down to 5000 with a reciever tube added. The factory reciever is rated for over 12,000. I don't want to lose that capacity.

They look like it could be the Victor wheels from American Racing

I'm going to go against the grain here and say that personally I don't like Blacked out trucks, I like Chrome. But it is a decent looking truck.

Heres one that you could paint:
EBAY Paintable Grill

I like a little Chrome (IE front grill, sidesteps, rear bumper) but some people do get carried away with it
