On the way home from the hardware store on Sunday, and I see a new, paper plated GMC 1500, 2wd, single cab weaving through traffic. The guy was driving and snuggling with his gal sitting next to him, and some other guy was riding shotgun. As luck would have it, we end up next to each other, and first in line at the next stoplight. Now this is in an un-incorporated area on an old highway, very little, if no traffic. As the light turns, we both take of "normally", he gives it a little more gas, I push the skinny peddle a little more...he gives it a little more gas, I push the skinny peddle a little more...I then hear him floor it, and well the rest is history, I got up to 95 and backed off, as he embarrassingly went by, his buddy had his hand on his forehead, and was shaking his head side to side...a Kodak moment!

I had a about 2003 GMC Gas burner try that with me one time! He was all lifted and trying to be a smart... well you know! I spooled and dropped it and heard a loud pop.... I spent 20 Minutes draging him through traffic and stop lights with a broke drive shaft just to be nice enough getting him out of the road!

 

I had a chev gasser that I put quite a bit of work into which I thought was unbeatable...One day there was a CTD beside me and I decided I wanted to be in front of him to make an exit so i dropped the hammer and was totally shocked to see him effortlessly pull away from me, I cut in behind him while he moved into my previous lane, I pulled up beside him in shock and saw him shaking his finger to me...at that moment in time I knew my next truck would be a diesel.
