I think i have a faulty gauge. I have used my glowshift gauges for a while now without any issues but have recently noticed a problem. My pyrometer will jump under acceleration from around 800-900 degrees to 1600. when doing so it basically bounces for a few seconds then drops down. anyone have any incite on this thanks

 

No incite. My brother's autometer egt does the same.

 

I think that is a gage issue. The actual exhaust temp builds up and drops uniformly. Maybe switch the gage out.
