Getting ready for the next step.....

Thinking of stacking my QuadX2 Race with a TST........then probably a turbo.......then when the tranny gives up the ghost!......a Goerends tranny!

What to do first with the TST....will my current mods support the TST? Thinking of starting to pull it at some local pulls, and just having a little more fun!

Advice?

Not quite as familiar with the 3rd gen trucks, but I doubt your tranny will last long enough with the TST for you to actually enjoy it, and I would think you are probably already running pretty hot with the race box on a stock turbo as well; I can't imagine what your EGT's might be with the stack...
I would recommend getting the tranny work done first as well as the turbo second before adding more fuel. Of course if you can afford the down time, then it may not be as much of an issue.

Find out if Dave has fixed the 2-3 flare issue with the trannies. Its pretty aggravating.

Well.....its gonna be in stages guys! Trying to buy a used TST, then maybe a bigger turbo. I know there is no way for me to do it all at once, so....O.K.......turbo first, then TST? I'll be easy on the tranny, trust me ( yeah right! ) , but what adverse effects will there be with a larger turbo without the fuel to suport it? Kind of a double edged sword......maybe get either one at a time, but not install them until I have both? I'm sure some of ya have done similar as I am thinking?..........
