so was at my dealership and i was asking them about performance upgrades, and they stated i can do a exhaust intake and a chip and it will not void my warrenty. i looked at the guy like are you out of your mind and he pulled up this website i have never heard of them "diamonddiesel?" and he said they are good ohh and he recomended me upgrading my transmission by ats and he said that wont void my warrenty also?

now for the really funny part, if i were to upgrade my speakers, all my electrical warrenty is voided! air bag, ecu, every electrical part, lights, windows, all voided? i walked out

what do you mean by that? is ther different rules for cali? when are they going to enforse the smog on these trucks? if this sounds stupid to you guys sorry i am new to the diesels

 

They can tell you about warranty not being voided. I know of a few dealers that sell programmers. If the turbo, motor, or transmission goes south it will be out of their hands. You can bet the regional folks that come to talk about the warranty will be talking different.
