Which Gauges?
I'm waiting on my truck and trying to decide what I should do to change her already.
I think that I would like to put a couple of more gauges in, maybe on the A-pillar. One should be the EGT, I think.
First, any recommendations for another gauge or thoughts on the usefulness of the EGT.
Second, I want to keep the A-pillar handle for the wife. Any suggestions on what kind of guages to get? I looked at one set on Wildcat's site, but I can't tell if they block the handle.

There are actually several options on gauge mounting that do not remove the grab handle. The X-monitor is just one of them...
Do a quick search on the forums on the topic. You will see dash mounts like the one I made, and also folks that have mounted them in the cubby under the HVAC controls. Each has it's benefits and drawbacks, so you'll have to be judge.

You can purchase the "a" pillar from an SRT-10 and use a combo gauge. Already painted and you get to keep the grab handle.
Quadzilla makes a mount that goes in the cubby hole beneath the a/c controls.

New options are on the way soon, Auto meter has a new dash top for the 2003+ trucks that holds 3 gauges and also an in dash for 3 gauges. The fit and finish is of course Auto Meter quality. We also sell a lot of the DiPricol white face Dodge special version gauges made to match the Dodge factory instruments. Call us if we can help you.

Gauge options
Since you want to keep the handle, you might consider the Di-Pricol pyro in a single pillar mount below the handle. The pyro is the most important gauge to have if you are onlt going to have one. Another option for multiple guages and keeping the handle is a dash top mount, but they are not offered for the new trucks yet. We have some customers who have modified the base of the mounts for earlier trucks and if a guy is careful they look pretty good.

Anyone know if the 03's need the lift pump operating for cooling to prevent failure of the injector pump?
