fueling settings (advice please)
fueling settings (advice please)
For all of those with far more experience than me in actual dyno/racing, I would appreciate your help. Per my sig., I have stacked products with many potential settings and adjustments. This is very good.
I simply don't have time or even the chance to even begin to try all of these. It just simply won't happen anytime soon. I would really like to hear from those withl a similar setup that has done some actual testing and what they found works best in terms of actual HP and ET.
I typically run the BDDL on TOW and TST (twins) on 2-3,3-4, Te/power. I also run the same with the BDDL on performance. I have tried CL by itself and found the stack is much stronger. No doubt, you can feel the difference going from Tow to Performance on the BDDL. The smoke at spool is crazy though. I did an evasive move in traffic today and the smoke was offensive. Should I favor the BDDL in Performance or switch to Tow and rely on the TST to make the real power.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Well I will give you some of my observations and experiences with my stacks. But every truck seems to be a little different from what I have read and seen.
I currently have the TST w/twins and EZ stacked. I did run with the BD Triple Dog w/CL and TST for a short time. At the track I could not run the TST higher than 4/2(Power/Torque) without getting hot too quick. I also think running the TST higher with the CL loaded popped the pressure valve on mine.
I found my best power and times were with the Performance program, TST 6/6 and EZ on 3. This dyno'd 522/930 and ran 13.2s 1/4s, this was after I think I popped the pressure relief valve. I currently do not run the downloader. Normal driving I run TST 3/1 and EZ 1. I ran 1/8 mile track with TST 6/4 and EZ on 3 and ran 8.68s @ 81.14mph recently.
I am sure I need a modded CP3 and new pressure relief valve before I can really do anything else. The only way to really tune a stack is with dynos/track time, DRBIII or enough quages/sensors to try each combo until you get drive pressure close to maching boost and verify that the rail pressure is not dropping off when needed.
Just my .02.
