Fuel System?

I am fixing to order a fuel system for my truck, I am trying to figure out which one to get and would like to hear any feed back from all of yall. I dont really know where to start. Is fass good or airdog or fuel boss. Is it better to have a mechanical pump like the fuelboss or an electric pump like the fass or airdog. Any info will be appreciated.

I am strongly thinkin of switching to a mechanical pump like the Mitusa, Fuel Boss and Rasp!!
Thing i like the most with those setups is u dont here any noise from them, i ride around alot with the radio off and want somethin super, super quiet thats why i bought the AirDog thinkin it was real quiet, one minute its very quiet then the next makes aloud noise and then its humming pritty real loud. Just today i was in the garage and my truck was sittin outside and i could here the pump from inside the garage talk about mad!
I checked all my fittings to make sure they were tight, thinkin it might be suckin air but found nothin! I just dont know whats goin on with it but if it keeps this up its comein off and a mechanical one is goin on! Probably the bigger Mitusa pump!!
Im gonna call Pure Flow and talk to them about this first though!

yah that is what i am looking at because the fuel boss for example used the factory lift pump to start the truck and then switches to the mechanical pump and if the mech pump ever goes out your truck will switch back to the factory lift pump from what i have read on glaciers website. I just didnt know if electric pumps are better or not or what? you arent happy with the airdog?

I edited my post above abit, check it out! Plus u wont have to worry about "possibly" runnin outta fuel at 1/4 tank cause the factory system will kick back on!
Id just go with a Mechanical, i know if i had to do it over again thats what i would have gone with! Just my $.02 though.

I have an Airdog Raptor 150 and it is a bit on the loud side. If I'm doing under 40 you can hear this slight "whine" sound. It is mounted on the driver's side between the front and rear doors though.

Bill,
How was the install? Did you get a filter kit? If so, which one and did you bypass the stock filter? Thinking of getting a GDP 392 this week.

I love my Airdog, for the price you CANT go wrong, yes it is a little noisy, but at least you'll know its working. The main thing is it tucks up good in the frame and I left the oem lines and pump in place so if there's any issues (I don't think so) I can return to the stock pump.
