just put in new gauges yesterday and bought the superchips flashpaq along with them. Im liking the setup alot but my fuel pressure seems really really low. At idle its like 9 throught the mid its around 5 and at WOT it drops to 2 maybe even lower!. . Whats gonna be my best option on fixin this and about how much will i be looking at spending?

Fuel pump solution

 

Read up on the fuel pumps on the 3rd gens (in tank) in the search area. Lots and lots and beat to death readings on the fuel pumps. They will work long and live long in stock trucks. Once you mod, you need a bette fuel pump. There are plenty a pumps out there that will work, FASS, Walbro, Glacial Diesel, you name them. What you want and use is your choice. I wanted a fuel cooled rotary pump (walbro) no brushes to wear out, heat, noise, ect. Pick your poison, any of the aftermarket pumps will keep you good with pressure.

P.S. I'm running the kit from Glacial, love it, and Rich is great to deal with.

 

thanks, with this kinda pressure will my lift pump/fuel pump last or was i right thinkin its time to start savin up for the new one. Also my truck is kinda surging or giving out it 6th around the high rpms, is this cuz im not able to keep supply all the fuel its adding or could it be something else.
