you saw no difference in mpg?

i record and hand calc EVERY fillup..i immediately noticed an avg of 1.5 mpg better when i installed my jr. Before i was usually 15-16...after my jr..before the cam it was 17-18.5...now im waiting to see what happens after the cam I had a predator before...all it did was screw with my computer and make the truck idle rough.

1) How many miles do you have on the truck.
2) you need to keep your foot out of it.
3) You need to make sure the jr is set on ECO setting(40 horse) the diablo will get you a higher HP setting for eco but you egt's might go up.
I have had the jr since August and went up some and went to using 2 stroke oil and went up some more. Last 2 fill ups with the jr and the 2 stroke I got 18 mpg and that is hand calc. I mostly do driven around town.

Yes never above 2000 rpms slow starts and slow downs. Never having to hit passing gear. I really have been working for the mpg they say these thing will get. 27000mls on the truck. I also have removed the muffler and put an aero on.

i have almost the exact same mileage as you even down to towing i am borrowing a bully dog power pup this weekend i will report on monday if i have any changes, like you guys i have been tracking mileage since the day i bought it
i think there are so many variables that affect mileage, ie speed, wind, load, fuel, temperature, mods, aggressive driving, road surface, aerodynamics, etc, that we could spend 4 grand on add ons and such and only see a consistent 2 mpg increase

If you have the original software that came with the Smarty JR when it was first released (Dec. 13, 2007, 5.03D Data 2.11B ) then you will see a good amount of smoke.

The “beta” software released Jun 18, 2008 makes much less smoke.

Both of the above software versions apparently have a bug where the 70 and 100 horse setting are both 100 HP. Monday (10/20/2008) the new “Revo” software for the Smarty Jr should be available on Madds website. With this software you can change the timing and torque management and the 70 & 100 levels are supposed to be fixed.

I’d say download the software Monday and give it another shot. If you are running around smoking, then you are just wasting fuel.

Here is the download site:
