Fuel Additive before break in?

I was just wondering If I can start using the Stanadyne fuel additive with 12,700 on the clock.. and all unloaded. I thought I read somewhere that I shouldn't use additives until breakin. Just wanted to make sure and get some good advice.

Thanks,

Jamie

In my truck, I was using fuel additives almost since day one.

You don't want to change to synthetic engine oils until after break in however.

In one day I can report the motor starts easier anyway. Time will tell regarding mileage.

Thanks all.

My fiance' thinks I'm over the deep end with all that I do with this truck. But it has actually become a hobby for me.

My girl refuses to drive mine, cuz its "too big", that and she's not real experienced with a stick.. but as much as I tell her, you can't stall it in first gear... she doesnt listen.

I'm now getting approx. 1mpg better with Stanadyne with cetane boost. I'm going to try the grey bottle of Diesel Kleen and see how that performs comparatively...Stanadyne is too expensive for me.
