Front Bumper
Front Bumper
I am going to be buying a front replacement bumper soon, right now I am leaning towards the Ranch Hand Bull Nose style. I remember a thread a while back saying something about how weak the Dodges are when if comes to mounting the bumper like it only had 2 mounting points while the Ford and Chevys have 4+. Anyone know what i am talking about or know how many mounting points my truck has?
Also i am not set on the Ranch Hand yet so post pics of your trucks front replacement bumper!

Not an 06, but heres my T3 replacement...

And yes, the bumper is held onto the frame by 4 bolts, 2 on either side.
Not sure about the Ford/Chevys, but honestly, im not worried about hitting anything that isnt going to move first...

i would like to retain my foglamps, tow hooks and possibly a winch!

wreed, I have the Ranch Hand summit series, it bolts up with four bolts-2 each side. Very easy to put on. Save yourself 150.00 in labor. If you would like to see it PM me, I live in Cypress. Fairfield. Brad
your right! i cant believe i forgot who made it. its a delxue front end w/ fog light sleeves and 18k lb D-rings. i wish i had gotten the front reciever hitch at the time, but didnt think i would need it
only things i dont like about it are, it scratches really easy, and i used it as a jacking point when doing the leveling kit and it bent it in and almost messed up the paint
....i have since tried tightening down the bolts in an effort to stop it from moving

I have the fabfours bumper and the mounts are pretty awesome. You actually pull the stock crush sleeve out of the frame and drill a couple more holes so that you have 4 bolts per side. All 1/4 plate mounts. I'll see if I have some pics of the mounts still. I love my FabFours bumper and the looks are great. I get more compliments on the bumper than the truck. Feel free to PM if you want some more pictures or info. FabFours actually called me this morning just as a follow up to see how I liked they're product and what all I was going to do to my truck. They are great people to deal with.
