Flux1 or Flux2

I have an 04.5 6spd 4x4, engine mods include; AFE st2 w/pg7, Roktech crank sensor, ATS exhaust manifold, Banks six gun w/PDA, muffler and kitty mia and replaced w/aeroturbine 4040l, Pac-brake prxb, Horschel Fluidampr, Fass 95 gph pusher pump, GDP 2 micron fuel filter kit w/big fuel line. I don't tow heavy (wakeboat, single car trailer) is about all I tow. Don't plan on turbo upgrade any time soon. Flux 1's are only rated at 40hp increase and Flux2's jump clear up to 100hp.. As long as I keep an eye on egt's, can I run the Flux2's w/out any problems? or will the Flux 2's w/stock turbo just make egt's unmanigeable? It just doesn't seem worth $1100 for the Flux1 40 hp injectors or am I underestimating the 40hp increase?

Okay, did a search and have been reading posts for about an hour but haven't found a direct answer to my question. I simply want to know if the Formula1 stage 2 injectors will be too much for my setup. Any help?

I tell you what I have and what I see. I have an 05 6speed truck with a big single and Hellfire (flux 3.5's) and I run around 600* down the highway with smarty on 8. So it is up to you what you want I have never seen high egt's with mine but I don't to either.

hope this helps

Sorry Sloverado, didn't see you're reply before my last post. I did talk to a guy @ Sourceautomotive and he sort of steered me towards the stage 2 nozzles but was kind of vague. I think I caught him just as he walked through the door (8am) because he didn't seem real interested.

Do you think the stage 1's are worth the money.

From what I've seen, any or them are worth the money!

Talk to Tim Barber. He knows flux injectors!

Stock turbo Flux 1s will be fine, flux 2s you will see 100hp only if you have a Stage 2 CP3, if not you won't see the 100hp. Buy a turbo first!

Okay, maybe the Flux 1s are my better option. I'm not looking for big horsepower #'s and I like the quick spool up of stock turbo so if I do upgrade turbo it would be one of similiar compressor and turbine size, just more efficient. All I need is a little more power so I can roast my 35's in third gear w/out dumping clutch. I know I could get more power by running TST w/mp8 but I already have over a grand in the Banks six gun w/PDA and the PDA does have some cool features. I figure a set of good injectors would compliment the banks programmer well.

I think with the stock turbo and cp3, you would be best off with Flux 1's

You guys aren't much fun...

Why can't he put Flux 3 Hellfires in and see how long the stock turbo will last?!

find the F1 dealer nearest you and pm or email them with your goals and aspirations...what you have and what you will have and ask for what you want ...like.... I want about 60hp for towing and I want good mileage, no smoke, good egts and I plan to use this box and my motor is bone stock with the following... This will get you better results than a phone call. Phone calls are for follow up... good luck, ks
