Ok, finally got around to some more RP, (Evil Twins-stock cp3 and II modded stage 3 which is a DMX pump)

i see no less then 20k and no more then 23,800

Knocked .8 seconds off the 1/4 mile, like i said i need 11's im at 12.0 right now!

My big question is, why doesnt Nitrous make any difference? i have a simple ZEX kit, wit -4 line, and .125 yet in the intake. at 20 psi it will make quiete a difference but at 60 psi boost you cant even feel it!

You need to upgrade your S400 to a S480..... You top end is lacking and will be improved with a S480.

N20 for a diesel works a little different in a diesel than a gasser, its pretty much an extra turbo in a bottle. The reason your feeling it at 20psi is b/c its pretty much adding a ton of extra air, and the reason your not feeling it at full boost is b/c your lacking the fuel, which doesnt make to much sense w/ flux 4's.

Does your smoke clear up at full boost?

I don't see a pressure box in your sig. Mp8 or Dr.p, you should be seeing more than 23.8.

Will i see a benifit going from 23k RP to say 26k with a pressure box?

Smoke doesn't clear, but its not thick black smoke either, more like a haze at WOT.

I know I thought Flux4 would work great with nitrous. Thinking about 5s or 6's now...

Yes, about 40-60 hp, and the ability to infinitely tune your rail pressure at the twist of a **** (mp8).

Flux 4's have plenty of fuel for nitrous.

If you can't feel the difference something is wrong.....Probably not getting enough nitrous into the intake.

I got kicked off my local track for not having a cage while running Flux 4.4's and nitrous.

What is your max boost pressure now?

max boost is 60 PSI (i only have a 60 psi boost gauge though, but i think the needle should exceed the 60 if it would make more boost)

With the Flux 4's, Smarty, twin CP3's, with the turbo's you have, you should be well above 60lbs of boost. Probably 70+. What is your supply pressure to the CP3's under full load? What rpm are you running down the track?

Your trap speed and egt's both lead to you being down on power.

On my truck the Smarty rail pressure adjustment just seems to accelerate the ramp up, not total increase and it isn't as brutal as a stand alone pressure box. With just smarty increasing pressure the most rail p. I see at WOT with Flux 3.3 and dual cp3's is 20,000. With using less smarty rail increase and using the most mild setting on a power puck I maintain 25000 thruout a dyno run and it adds the hp, believe me. Pressure is dangerous though I turn it on for the dyno and then I turn it off before I leave the dyno bay. I never, never use it on the street. My setup is probably about 600 h.p. the way I daily drive and that is plenty. Jay

X2
I hit 75psi with Flux 4.4.'s
You most likely have a fuel problem...Probably in you lift pump as Paul mentioned. Bigger injectors will not fix the problem.

The lack of nitrous response is either a result of too little nitrous or too little fuel. You will know when you have it right...The eyeball flattening power will let you know!

Go to work!

Im not sure about Lift Pump pressure, dont have a gauge!
But its an almost new AD 150 system, i dont think it has 1000 miles on it. Wouldnt hurt to check it though!

Trap speed is at 110 MPH. (12.0s)

Remember we are at almost 7000 feet elevation, which hurts, Max Boost, and power big time!

For those of you who make around 70 psi boost, how do you have your wastegate set up? i have MPI twins, with the spring, adjusted a tighter then half the way

I live at 4600 feet, and I make 82psi total, with 38 on the bottom turbo. If I go higher on the bottom turbo the EGT's start to rise. I get the lowest EGT's with the 82 and 38.

I know it probably doesn't help, because I have different turbos, but I don't have that much more fuel. Or at least I shouldn't have that much more fuel...

I run the BD turbos and am no help to you because they run a single gate and rely on a balanced flow....I don't use the waste gate until I raise the fuel to over 850Hp.

I would talk to Nathan about your setup...I know that if you have the MPI's set up wrong you can give away 100Hp at your power level.

I'm betting the AD150 isn't making the grade.
