Flux 3.3 record?

Does anybody know the record for hp on Flux 3.3's? I think I am going to make an attempt at it. Jay

I have either 3.3's or 3.5's and I know I'm a bit over 700. Did you make that 780 with flux 3.3's? If so what type of dyno and what CF? What size of turbo(s)?

Yep, 3.3's dual cp3's, nathan's twins 62/71/13ss over 480, smarty and power puck for electronics. The clutch was slipping all the way, I didn't make good boost, it also spun the tires on the rollers. No correction factor my friend Dyno was inertia. She's bad. Jay

Whoa, sounds like if the stars aligned and all of your disadvantages were removed you would have made 1000 HP.

780 is big HP to 95% of the diesel world, no need to make excuses to justify such a low... hmm... BIG number.

Congrats!

Got Boost.. Did you use the 3.3s with a single before getting the Twins? I have heard varied responses on using 3.3s with a single similar to your small turbo.

I was there to watch the tires break loose on the dyno. then the clutch slip on the 2nd run. 800hp is definatly possible with 3.3's imo. JP I used 3.3's with a single66 and it get hot!!. I'll let Jay disclose the smarty settings

no excuses just facts thoughs are small numbers if there is more in it i was there as well. that truck is sick. i feel there is 800-825 with the electronics on it with a tst a believe it would be alot closer to 900 if not over. we'll see what it can do in the spring everthing will be ready for ts in bowling green.

Jay, I did 824 uncorrected with 3.3s over a year ago. It will make more than that though. We only spent a short time working w/ the 3.3s before we moved on to 4.3s. You will probably need a tst though. I was using a tst and smarty beta 4.3 back then/ 64 over 80. Tim

Is it possible to keep 3.3's adequately fed with a single CP3? I mean no problems whatsoever maintaining 27.5k?

Jay, are your CP3's modded at all? I still do not know which way to go. Duals or a st3 CP3.

Matt, My stg 3 keeps up with my 3.3's no problem. IMO you can get better recovery out of duals resulting in more hp. Jay's cp3's are stock.

You told me what I thought but not what the wallet wanted to hear. I may consider cutting back on the injector size to use a modded CP3. I doubt it though as my goal is 750 without N2O
