what should I be using for oil and tranny fluid. stock tranny but adding a deeper pan and pretty soon a tc and vb or should a do the pan and everything at once to save on fluid. what shpuld i run for oil in the winter and then in the summer.

For tranny fluid........you should just run good old Mopar ATF +4. It's good stuff and already synthetic. You can buy it from the dealer (ask for a discount!) by the gallon or from walmart by the quart. Some other cos. are also selling ATF +4....it has to meet Mopar's specs though.


For oil........you could start an oil war thread right here.. I use Shell Rotella Synthetic 5w40 year round......at least as long as I can buy it in CI-4+ blend. I just found and bought 9 more gallons to add to my CI-4+ stock at a Walmart in Mississippi while visiting for Thanksgiving. But I think they quit making that and went to the newer CJ blend oil like most of the other companies. I can't find CI-4+ locally anymore.
