Wait until you see the difference between stock and Fluidampr . It's a tight squeeze but I did it not removing anything. Someone said not to use locktite just crank'er down.

You probably already know, but the belt must be placed over the damper before it's bolted up. I didn't have to remove anything, but it's a little tight.

Have fun! --Eric

You'll love it! It was one of my favorite mods on my '03!

Make sure you torque it up correctly. The guy who installed mine the first time didn't and the bolts backed out. I had to replace the locating pin in the crank and the tone ring as a result.

A barring tool from Snap-on is a help.

So maybe I am missing something but the instructions basically say unbolt the old damper and bolt up the new one and torque to 30 or 35ftlbs. I cant remember wich.

What is the locating pin John?

There was something in the instructions about if you are over 3500 rpms you need to drill the crank and use locating pins that came with it but there are non in the box. Just some very gerneral instructions and some stickers.

125 ft lbs

the engine will turn over when you try to tighten the bolts down, that is what the barring tool is for

You have to order the pins seperately. The damper smothes out the motor, and the barring tool keeps the motor from turning over when tightening the bolts.
