I'm interested in running 5" pipe from the Cat back through a single Flowmaster exhaust with turndown in stock location.

This coupled with a Scotty ram air III should get better mileage, lower egt's and have more than adequate flow for future mods.

Is anyone running this set up?

 

Don't use a chambered muffler...no good on a turbo diesel. Get a straight thru design from many many suppliers. If you are on a budget...a Donaldson from the local big rig shop is the way to go. Stick with a 4" diameter.

 

Boo on flows. Flows don't flow. They sound good, but there are better options out there.
