Anyone know the rating on the fleetguard fuel filters that can be used on the airdog? Got different numbers thrown at me.

I was told when I purchased mine for my AD150 that they were 2mic but others on here say thats not true. I also would like to know what the real deal is!

 

They are 4 microns absolute. I installed a GDP 2 micron set up just before the CP3.

 

Why do they advertise 2mic on the filters??? Mine says 2 mic.

 

For better marketing and technically it can filter down to 2 microns but just not at absolute efficiency (98.7%). That being said a screen door filters to 2 microns at some level of efficiency too. I have numerous problems with AD and Fass ranging from crappy water seperators and sub par fuel filters to waaaayyy overpriced fuel filters. IMHO just run a PF7977 in the housing and a cat/donaldson filter pre-CP3 with an HPFP or Raptor and you get better protection.
