Flat Bed

I recently purchased the truck in my sig. It came without a bed which is good because I wanted to get a flat bed anyways. I have been looking on the net for one I can buy. I need it to be reputable because my wife will be taking the truck to get it installed since I'm overseas. I was looking at the CM flat beds in the SK style. Does anyone have any experience with these or is there a brand that you prefer that I could research on the net? Thanks for any replies.

If it was me and money was not an option, this is what I'd get.

Or this one.

Yea that gray colored bed is real tough looking! It looks like it says it's made by B&W. Can you verify that?

We use C&M beds @ work. They are built nice and are tough. Just don't have all the bells and whistles of some others.

That is a sharp looking bed colo river! I noticed on the CM site that they say they make every bed for a certain truck so that the headache rack actually contours the rear of the cab. Do yall know if B&W does that? I didn't see it on their site. I just want to make sure I am getting what I want being that I am overseas and I can't go and check it out myself.

Thanks five20too,

All of the pics I've seen of the B&W's are flat with ears on the end this helps with the head aching of long boards or pipe.. I would drop B&W an email with any questions you have..

Some of the welders at work are starting to get CM beds for their welding beds. While in my opinion they look horrible as a welding bed, they should make decent all around flatbeds and none of the guys have had any problems with them, which is good because these right of ways are tough on everything. All in all, I'd say CM makes a good truck bed.

If I didn't have a slide in camper I could be tempted by a flat bed. I've never priced them. Out of curiosity how much are they?

I have seen a flatbed with a slide in(on) camper..it had the above bed boxes and the camper slid in between them, not to bad looking and he had a lot of storage in the boxes..
