Your speed at the end of the end of the 1/4 is a good indication of power reguardless of what kind of tranny you have.

There will be auto's out there with quicker ET's but its very possable you might have a higher top speed proving you have more power

My last truck was a 99 CTD (215 hp) with a fully built auto w/ billet shafts. My only power adder was a edge comp box. Best was 14.7 @89mph doing 4wd 20psi boosted launches and locking the TC. The truck accelerated crazy fast but didnt have the power to pull high speeds.

My new truck 2003 SlowSixSpeed is the complete opposite, it ran a best of 14.8 @98. My 0-1/8 sucked due to the constant shifting and boost loss that occurs every time you shift but from 1/8-1/4 my truck took off and pulled an extra 10mph on my 99.

Most people say the best way to improve you ET's is to cut time off your 60 foot and a little bit after which is hard to do with a manual.

Great editing

P.S If your looking for an orignal drag racer I definetly reccomend a Eagle Talon AWD Turbo 2.0L DOHC. I just picked one up and this thing rocks Its basically a old EVO, same engine family and is capeable of easy 11's and 8's if you get really serious, and its an american car buit in america and related to our CTD's since its a Chrysler.

Nice video

Love sketching off the ricers. I found out after a couple of runs in the staging area, they like to wave you by during practice. I guess it is the embarrassment of getting whooped by a 7500lb. truck.

Forget the Camaro or GT, everyone has one of them at the track. Unless you are talking about a 69 SS396 Hide-a-way lights in Midnight blue (thats my dream car)

Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming!
