it will not help at all on an 03-04. Get a used quad 100hp box asap, or spring for the new x2 when funds allow. I'n the mean time, I'll give you a run for your money w/ my new Kubota!

03-04 have a mechanical wastegate. You already put a boost elbow in. Smarty fueling maps included increased boost tolerance. 04.5 up have a electronic wastegate so a boost fooler is required. That's how I read it off the Mads website. By the way you will over spool your stock turbo stacking a pressure box with smarty....be prepared. I'm amazed that you haven't blown it already as anything over 28 psi on the 03/04 turbo just sends the intake temps thru the roof and the exhaust wheel can't keep up.

yeah i am at 36psi on stock turbo everything is working out fine for now. but when the time comes i will get the turbo but the clutch i think will go before the turbo. well thats just the price you pay, Right!! you have to pay to play. i will also need some studs when i do the turbo. so i think another 4K will get me around where i want to be for now. FOR NOW

But i was also looking around to day and i think i will same alot of money if i went out and got an older GT mustang or a Z28 and started racing it and leaving my CTD were she is. or maybe very little more to the truck and all out on the car. but i don't know just an idea. the only thing is i love seeing people's faces when they find out how fast diesels can be.

Its gonna take alot more money for you to prove that point.

^^^^^
Great Idea

Your best bet would be to keep your $45,000 diesel pickup for its intended pourpose.

Its gonna take about twice the ammount of $$$ to get your manual 6 speed moving down the 1/4 vs having a built auto doing 20psi boosted launches.

If you want to go fast down the 1/4 get a drag type car or trade in for a auto.

I vote for a built auto with lots of air and fuel so you can show all your friends what a 12 second CTD is like.

Yeah, you just missed it yesterday. When you left I had that bad boy sitting on it's axles STUCK down by the lake. Good thing it has a bucket
So what's up for Friday night, is it a date?

Eric, do you want to borrow my Quadzilla so we can blow that baby? I really might go this time if your buying the CBs! Brian said he's ready to blow his tranny and u-joints.......I'm there!

Oh, and yes I will be modding out the Kubota, maybe turn the pump up a little....new sticks......strait pipe it!

Hey i'll buy the cold ones and its a date for me. and i may take you up on the quad. i think if i run the quad on 60 or 90 and the smarty on 60 or 90 which ever way will work better to make 150hp. or even 60 and 60 i don't want to run them both WOT. and i'm not looking to blow it this weekend. anyways let me know. i plan on leaving around 5:30 and maybe i will get there around the right time for once. Let me know.
