Finished my stacks!

Thanks to my buddies, Doug, and Adrian (SPLnut), for help with the crossover box. Next, Im mounting my tool box, behind them, and put a piece of diamond plate fom the box to my front bedrail.

The reducers are clamped to the box outlets with 4" stainless band clamps.

Theres no clamps on the stacks to the reducers. Theyre wedged in there and wont come out

And I used some 6" chrome thick, band style clamp to hold the stacks to the bedrail. The have a little flange, and I placed them on top of the rail.

The box is made from 3x6" box pipe, thats 60" long. We capped of the ends with plate.

The plenum, or "top hat" was made from 5x5" box pipe, and has a piece of 2" angle on the underside of the top as a splitter.

A y-pipe would have put them too far up in the air.

None! All the talk Ive heard about vibration, this and that, and "theyll give you a headache, ..youll want to take them out." Thats crap.

There not as loud as my straight piped, factory four inch. ESPECIALLY when your trying to talk, standing next to the truck while its idling. Its much quieter now. Not as much veloscity, rushing out of the exhaust.

Theyre 6", btw.

That looks awesome! To thow it looks more restrictive than why pipe hence it being quieter. and as far as stacks sitting up to high I resolved that with 30" stacks instead of 36's. It puts them just a inch below the cab. Like I said it looks great but looks like a lot of work.
