Because of the 6 inch backspacing they only stick out 1.5 inches because that's how much wider they are then stock.

Look real good! Do you have a lift or just a leveling kit? Any rub?

Neither, suspension is dead stock. Its close but it does not rub anywhere that I can see.

Looks good! My wheels and tire will be in next week (same tires).

I don't see how people can leave the stock wheels on there.

FRICKING SWEET! Those look like the Helo's I'm considering.
Have you noticed any adverse effects with handling or driveability? Braking, power loss etc...
Did you need and alignment?
Why no leveling kit?
Why the 60 insted of 65?

Excellent truck, looks great. Could you tell us if you can tell a difference in performance and the the ride at highway speeds. How much did the set up cost?

thanks Jamie

PADZZ,
The answer to all your questions really comes down to 33" vs. 35" tires. My truck on stock tires and suspension tracked perfectly straight with great mileage and power. I did not want to mess any of that up. I elected to go with a 33" tires because:
1. I would not have to have a lift of any sort
2. I would not have any rubbing problems.
3. I would not have a noticable loss of power
4. It would still fill the wheel wells better than stock

I also happen to like a wide tire but did not want it sticking out 3 or 4 inches. This tire is 1.5" taller and a full 2.5" wider than the stock wheels but, thanks to the 6" backspacing of the wheel, it only sticks out 1.5" beyond stock.
When I drove it home, it tracked true but felt a little spongy. I checked the pressure and it was only at 40 psi. I ran it up to 50 psi (cold) and now it fells great.

(I use to run the stock fronts at 55 psi . . . . . . . . . )

Jamie,
Now that the tires are properly aired up, it drives straight and true but feels just a little softer than stock. They are just a little louder than stock but not much. They may go "hmmmmmmm ", but not "HMMMMMMMMMMM". Total price including mounting, balancing, caps, lugs, locks and tax was $1908.

Thanks. Did you buy them over the net?
So, these are basically the same height as 285/70/17 but just wider?
Do you off road any? I need something that's a decent off roading tire, yet hefty enough to pull 11K lbs of fiver.
