Talking Finally got SMARTY!!!

Well guys i got my smarty in today. I spent about a hour and a half taking off my banks six-gun w/PDA, and then loaded the smarty in. I set it on level nine and gosh that thing is rediculous. Its just plain quick.

Does the smarty help with shifting? Because my girlfriend thought it shifted smoother but i couldn't really even tell, but you never know because i was too worried about the power.

What are the egt's on the 07 trucks with smarty, because i havent got gauges yet because i have previously been monitoring things through the pda? Which would be safe to tow a bass boat with until i get some gauges to be able to read these egts?

GREAT PRODUCT BY THE WAY! LOVE IT!

Nice job! Would suggest you get some gauges asap, If it was me I would not go above level 3 without some gauges. EGT's will depend on elavation road incline throttle input etc so its hard to guess whats safe.

yah I would def get some gauges. I used my banks pda and just left the banks on level one which is stock for the gauges. At least its something you know. you can watch your egts and all kind of stuff. If you have any questions try to pm soulzoo. he was running that stack for a while if he isnt still running it.

I know you can see my sig but I like the commander myself. It is not a bad price and it monitors coolant, fuel pres, rail pres, egts, boost, and I know one more thing i just am going blank right now. but you can set when you want it to warn you when you hit limits. You set the limits. I think it is nice and it fits on your pillar in the truck. just my opinion though.

diesel manor has the isspro package with a gauge pod for like $300 or so. i run those and i like them so far.

load the smarty on 5 and enjoy... ive ran mine on 5 since i bought it, even with stock tranny and i never saw over 1000 egt romping on it and the tranny never slipped. good luck with it, its def a nice programmer.

Yea and does anyone know with that package that is from diesel manor, if the thermocouple for the egt will fit in the same hole that the thermocouple from my six gun came out of so i don't have to drill another one?

It should fit no problem.. I've interchanged quite a few with the same wholes in my manifolds... Guess my manifolds a bit perrmiscuous...

That sure would make it alot easier if it would just fit in the same hole that is already drilled.
