Finally found a combo for 11's

So last weekend was truck fest. Saturday was ATS's diesels on the mountain and I made two passes. I was only able to net a 12.17 on 35's. I went home and put stock tires/wheels on and came back for sundays truck fest. After a few launches(some spining my front tires and sliding sideways) I realized my speed limiter was hitting. I adjusted my tire size and told my computer I had 28's for more MPH and then cranked my EZ up, so this is the result.
Edge EZ: 3
Triple dog: Crazy larry
Co pilot: All the way down
Traction: non existent...

It was my first 11, fuel only. I know theirs a 11.80 in it if I can just get my launch under control(or as much as it can on stock rubber).
Take a look at some of my other vids from the weekend.

Congrats, maybe you could look for a fatter stickier tire and air down a bit to help your taction issues.

Do you have ladder bars?

I have some pro comp bars going on this weekend. As far as a different tire I think I might just keep stock rubber, and mount a set of M&H drag radials on a set of rims for the truck, or just keep the slicks on (trucks been driven 300 miles in 8 months so dont really need long tread life!). I took the stockers down from 75PSI(just got them from a friend) to 37 and was afraid to go anymore. I got alot of white smoke and wheel spin from my front left?? I think i just might be from the motor torqueing pressure to the other side though.

truck sounds like it liked the change from them bigguns to the stockers, I been wonderin a while on how bad my tires have been hurting my performance at the strip, now I have a better idea. that was a great looking run, congrats on the numbers.

I am no drag racer but Id bet that you are right, its just the motor torquing and your left front has the least traction. It may make it kinda squirrely but I bet a front locker would cure that, however some drag radials would probably get you the traction you need.

That's sweet Allen. 119mph is no joke especially at that elevation. It's pretty amazine that stock/S400 set up still cleans up the smoke at that power level. I bet the temps are a bit high though.

Yeah the temps are pretty high, I imagine if i was brave enough to look at the guage it would be peged, but surprisingly my backpressure is just slightly over a 1:1!! This setup has worked so well, I'm amazed by it.
