I got a FAST FLASH programmer and it wont download to my truck it says Unknown Vehicle everytime.
Any ideas?

 

I've never heard of that programmer.

Take it back and get a refund......

Most likly your trucks ECM has been updated and your Fast Flash hasn't. It doesn't reconnize the different settings. You should be able to update the programmer online for the new ECM updates.

Could be wrong, but it is a good place to start.

 

Could also try unplugging the predator first.
Did you "copy" your stock ECM first? Thats the first step when using a Smarty, maybe you need to do that first....or is there a chance it already had a programmer loaded on the ECM?

 

I did unhook the predator first that did not help. I don't if it had a programmer in it already, i dont think so as without the predator it is a dog.
I will try the stock setting first and see what that does.

what did u pay for it?if its any more than 200 i would return it and get a diablo predator tuner,if u have the predator plugin module u can use that with the diablo predator,they are 2 totaly difertnt things and the diablo tuner really kikkkkkks asssss on the early 04s as i have one and on my early 04 like urs and i love it,for the price u cant go wrong,sure a smarty is probaly better but u can get 3 preds for a smarty so u do the math haha

i have never once on this site heard a a fastflash,either thier not well know or thier not good,not sure but u may havve a heard time getting info from here on it,ive been on here for almost 3 years and ive never heard of it.if it doesnt work,get ur money back and read on here what guys like and make a decision,my bet is the diablo pred for the money for 03-04s,for the rest of the years probaly a smarty.

 

I've been on here and the TDR since '03, and neither have I ever heard of it.
