Vent mod is great. I have no experience with Airdog, but FASS and Diesel Dan have been great to work with and the FASS is reliable.

Airdogs are reliable also. The vent mod moves the fuel tank vent on top of the tank by the fuel canister to the highest part of the tank right in front of the axle.

There are 2 different mods you can do while the tank is down.

On top of your stock fuel tank are 2 open "barbs". Some of us have put on some fuel hose and run them to a "T" and run another line up to a fuel filter. It still allows the tank to vent without letting debris, sand, grit, etc a way to get into the fuel tank. (when I did mine it was clean, but some guys have had some problems with dirty tanks in older 3rd gens, like ours)
Here is a thread discussing this... https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=117209

The other mod is the Vent Tank Mod you are referring to above. It will let you fuel your tank up all the way to the brim without waiting on it to "burp" and make more room for more fuel. It should add about 5 gallons of fuel when you are done by using the unused "expansion" space in your fuel tank. Dodge just uses the same tanks for diesel trucks as Gas powered trucks. Diesel doesn't need the expansion space like the gassers. Here is a couple of sources for the kit. Pretty easy to do. http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/pr...pf_id=0307-TVK

Hope that helps some.

I would highly consider one of these:

My fully modified cannister should be here mid-week, and I have very high expectation for it to perform wonderfully.....and then I will installed the AD150 along with Glacier's Eliminator bracket

My Fass 150/150 has been installed on my '06 since the vehicle was almost new no problems and NO 1/4 tanks issues. It was installed by SourceAutomotive.

I have a FASS 95 pump only and it was sent back due to a shorted wire and it is going back for something similar again when I get home.
Other wise it works fine.

Don't know the Air Dogs.
I think newer FASS units are figured at an honest 500,000+ miles in big rigs.
Should be as good for us. 6 yr warranty. My FASS has been trouble free for 4+ yrs and 125,000 miles.

Same here. Didn't do the vent mod, but have had my fass over a year. No problems, and if I have one I pm diesel dan and he responds within a day.
