Would not want to do this for a living. The drilling the mounting bracket holes in the right spot is trickey and the suction line out of the tank is an art to say the least. Hose between filler and tank I took a short cut and only removed the fill side and used hedge shears to cut hose. Cp3 hook up is hard to see and get started with banjo for gauge hookup and seems to have a small leak. Primed and started easily. At idle and highway and full throttle 21.5 psi with stock fueling. Noise wise the pump is touching a thin bed support and still seems rather quiet to me. My pump serial is 4700's so I was expecting loud and outrageous noise not the case so far. Only went for a 4 mile test drive so not able to tell a whole lot yet my pmcr should be back anytime now too. Oh this was a 25 deg. day install with no heat in the shop. Wish spring would get here fast!
You can just barely see it...but you can just make it out. It’s a hole that is drilled on the motor base to allow diesel to leak if the shaft seal is compromised or gets old. Not unlike a water pump. Just make sure its install just like this.....
