well i was straight piped then got a ticket for being to loud. so i put on a staight through mufffler that rescricts the sound... but i still have massive drone in the cab and people in back cant talk.

well now i have a baby on the way and i need to ditch the drone.
what do you guys suggest. i still want a throaty sound to it.
so any suggestions or clips to share your tone.......

 

Nelson 86131M- 51 inch straight thru muffler with no drone.

 

I run a AeroTurbine at the very part of the downpipe the curves to the back of the truck, I THINK it sounds great and zero drone, the Banks muffler is also is still there, the Aero just removed the drone.

 

I'm running a Banks 4" Monster Exhaust from the turbo back. Great sound and no drone even while towing.

 

The answer is probably in your signature "short box" Longer the truck = more drone from what I hear.
