Wanting an exhaust tip. You guys have any advice? I do not want to replace my exhaust. Just want a tip. Prefer stainless. Also I don't want it to look cheesey. Thanks for the assistance.

MBRP and Magnaflow make some nice 5inch stainless steel ones. Pay a little more up front and go with the stainless ones. If you go with chrome you'll end up replacing it and wishing you went SS first. Check with some of the sponsors/advertisers on here for availability.

I put the Megs stainless steel on mine. I like the clean look of no clamp, and it has held up well. I think it was from Geno's.

Try this place, They are stainless tips, and are like $20 cheaper than what Ive seen on E-bay and other sites. Im gonna put an order in so I have it when I pick up my new truck.

I run the 5" Stainless tip from Genos and the quality is nowhere near the 4" Megs I had before it. It looks good but I have to polish it every month it seems because it starts to look really dull if I don't....

I have a 5" stack from a kenworth that I modified. Pics are in my gallery. It is chrome though, not stainless. I've given up trying to wash it because it is always getting filthy from the rear wheel, even with the mudflaps.

That seems oftly cheap for a 5" tip, dunno maybe they get you on shipping or something or maybe it's a great deal. I got mine from MBRP and I love them, drilled a small hole in the bottom to allow water to drain (rolled edge). I havn't polished them yet and although they "dull" a bit from road spray and all that, a quick 1-2 with the polish will have them shining again. Hey mark, will the polish take off that MBRP logo or is it engraved, etched in the Stainless??

Almost 2 years running with multiple washes and polishes but the MBRP logo still remains...for better or worse, however you look at it

I've been exceptionally pleased with the Magnaflow Stainless Steel tip I had installed on my truck. Pics are in the gallery.

I have the same one as Maynard, it's welded on. I works great for soot and noise with the straight pipe!

TAS05CTD610,

It's an acid etch, you'll eventually wear it off polishing, but it'll take some time. If you guys are looking for tips we have a prety big selection etc:

4 to 5 inch single wall rolled edge, angle or straight
4 to 5 inch dual wall angle or straight
4 to 6 inch angle rolled edge
5 to 6 inch angled rolled edge
4 to 4 inch turn down
3.5 to 3.5 inch turb down

All but the turn downs have a built in bolt on clamp and all of them are 304 polished stainless.
