Exhaust/Smarty
Exhaust/Smarty
I have a silverline turbo back system on my 03. My buddy may buy it from me and I could use the extra cash right now. So My plan is to sell him my silverline system and to get him to give me his stock four inch system. Then I was planning on putting an aero turbine muffler. Will i be losing performance buy doing this or is it basically the same without the stainless piping.
As for the smarty, I recently swapped from the diablo predator and the puck stack to go with the smarty. I have noticed a large improvement in fuel economy and the truck runs substantially smoother, but my truck does not smoke much nor does it run as strong. Is there something wrong? Most trucks i see running a smarty in videos are dumping fuel. I know dumping fuel isn't my primary concern but I'm not seeing much at all and am not running near as fast.
Also i do not have the usb connection cable that goes to the smarty, can i get another one?
Thanks

Shouldn't see no difference swapping exhausts.
The current Smarty programs are more oriented to limiting smoke while gaining power. Start heavily modding and you will begin to see the smoke roll.
You can get the usb cable from WalMart if its the actual cable to sync to your computer you need.

If your talking about the actual sync cable for the computer and not the truck, then yes, they have them at walmart. Now the big cable that screws into the Smarty for loading a program on the truck, I don't know, have to ask Bob I suppose.
Maybe need to look at getting a fuel system to support what the smarty is gonna pull?? That may help a lot and see an improvement in several areas. I didn't see anything listed in your sig that you have that.
