Which Exhaust Manifold

Does anyone have any suggestions of which exhaust manifold would be the best one to buy for an 05? I have seen several different kinds, ATS, BD, the one for sale here, etc, but I was wondering what everyone else has and the good and bad about them. Is the one here worth the extra $$$ or are the other as good for less $. Give me some ideas and suggestions.

The ATS and BD (a couple of others too) have been the standard for a long time and not much difference between them that you will be able to tell (I've used both of those and can't tell a difference between them). They are a good product so this is one thing I'd say you can shop for price. As far as the new stainless steel offerings, I've got no experience at all with them, but have heard good reports of significant improvement over the standard aftermarket manifolds. There are several different mfgs. of these out there as well. There's been no direct comparisons or shoot-outs of them, so there is no way to tell if any is better than the others. It comes down to a value judgment to you as to whether they are worth the extra money for the improvement you get. They sure are purdy though... I wish I had one fo' sure!

That was kind of what I was wondering if anyone actually had any experience with the SS models and if they were actually better than the ATS/BD models. Thanks for your input soulezoo, I may just go with the models like you mentioned. I don't mind paying for something that works, but kinda nervous about being the guinea pig too LOL.

Me too, that is why I haven't ponied up for one. I have just left the stocker on the truck until someone else is the guinea pig.

Where are you located Yellow?

If you are located in the Golden State of California and with the new smog checks starting next year...make sure the aftermarket part you put on is CARB approved...I myself need to move....

I went with the HTT one piece SS exht manifold, I have not got it on yet, it's at Jet-Hot getting coated. I liked the idea of a one piece and the fact it's SS.

Be sure and let me know how it works for you Glock, I am really interested in the stainless too, just haven't heard alot from anyone who has used it. There was another post where they had one for sale on here, but it looked like only one person really posted much after installing it. I was just trying to get some more opinions before I decided what to buy.
