Exhaust install help???

The MBRP turbo back exhaust just arrived...

Anyone that's removed the stock exhaust and installed one of these?

I could use some advice - I do have a sawz-all - where to make the cut for the stock one?

Any other removal tips?

What order should I install the new one?

Any special tools required?

Thanks - I'm dying to get the new system on.

I wouldn't cut anything off the stock one...just drop the ENTIRE thing. The pieces are pretty hard to get apart due to the stock crimping that they do...so drop your transfer case skid plate, loosen the v-band clamp from the downpipe, slide out all your hangers and you and a buddy lower it all in one piece and install from there...plus it makes for easier re-sale (if you want to) of the stock exhaust if you don't have it all hacked up...I plan on selling my stock exhaust sometime after I get my VA plates on.

As for installing the aftermarket...first get your downpipe piece installed back on the v-band clamp, then hang the muffler and install the rest of the pieces after that...it's not that hard. Like I said, get a buddy and some beers...it will be fun!

No problem bud...if you have a camera, take a sound clip of that bad boy and post it on here...that way if folks have questions about sounds of exhausts, between the two of us, we'll have two of the bigger distributors knocked out for the new guys! Have fun, it's not hard at all...
