exhaust brake for 05

Hi guys,

Looking at possibly getting an exhaust brake again.

Who has them on their 05s and have been happy with function AND reliability?

What exact parts do I need to get to make this work and work well? What brands do you recommend?

What are some other benefits of the ex brake? For example can I set it up to help me warm up the truck in the winter. Up north in Canada here, the dodges run way too cool when idling.

I have a single disk aftermarket converter in the 48re, works good, I understand this should help with ebrake.

Thanks again.

Super impressed with my Pac Brake PRxB. I've had it for a few years and it has been trouble free. The kit was very complete. The only thing I would do differently would be to have gotten it sooner.

I have a BD and is by far the best $ spent on my truck. I don't know anything about the other brands but I am very satisfied with performance of the bd, on the '05 they are air actuated and run a compressor so that is something to consider when purchasing. Which was fine with me as I also use it for air bags.
