Mine leaked when we first put it on, I thought it was the flare fitting. Turned out it was the fitting in the cp3, tightened it and no more leak.

Well so far so good! Tightened to 60ft/lbs and it seems like it is staying dry!

I'm having problems for the lines to crack mine has cracked 3 times already now in 25000 miles..this last time I was far from home, and I tell ya with no tools to fix it or anything you're pretty much screwed!!

If it is the Aircraft type A/N flared fittings, thread sealer will do you no good. The flare itsself is actually what creats the seal in that situation. If you separate the lines and inspect the male and female flares, any burrs or defects or dirt on the mating surfaces can cause a leak. Any hydraulic lines that are designed to have thread sealer or teflon to create a seal will have a slight taper on the outer diameter of the male end and will simply be flat across the top.
