that is actually really good info!!! I noticed "Triton" had a thread about his dmax pump making noise with high lift pump psi.....I am going to get the cummins pump for mine....especially since it is a cheap pump to buy used.

Kai and I have both ran 25 psi at the inlet of our dmax pumps. We have never had a problem with high rail pressures at idle.

I don't have that problem either. It's when the peddle is depressed that to much LP psi seems to be a problem.

Why do you think you've not had the FCA buzz problem running the psi you do ?... or have you ? are you using Cummins FCA's

Using the Evil Twins (stage II CP3 & OEM CTD CP3) and a Raptor 150, is there a benefit to using 1/2" low-pressure fuel line? ..... and does that then make the drawstraw the chokepoint?

This would be at the 1K HP level.

I think 1/2" line can only help...volume is always nice..not just PSI.
if your using the stock pick up then yes that would be the choke point...but if you run a 1/2" drawstraw then you would have 1/2" line the whole way to the CP3's...no choke point......

Very nice looking kit and you can't beat the price. I'm going to be on the look out for a good cp3. Duel cp3s are the way to go. The tnt-r56 has no problem draining my stage I.

I agree the big line can only help. I run a 5/8 draw straw and -10 to were it splits -6 to each cp3.

Did you & Lloyd ever see any solid numbers, either in K's of psi RP at max fueling (or dyno HP) between -6 line & either -8 or -10?

Can a cp3 off a 03 be used with this kit on a 04.5?

The only thing I've found is that with a -06 line feeding the two cp3's my fuel pressure would fall to zero on the top end of a 0-120mph run usually right at around 2700 rpm. With the -10 line it has not been an issue. I am currently running a Bosch 044 pump, output is about 20% more than a walbro.

Any year cp3 can be used with the kit.

As for the 1/2" line, I ran it cause I wanted to be sure to have the volume of fuel. Some of the other kits have used considerably smaller line and never had a problem with making power. So, I do not personally think it it makes a huge difference. I just did it to keep everything uniform since the airdog system comes with 1/2"
