Espar Heater & running 2 stroked' diesel fuel

Hey,
I've installed a D5 espar diesel fired heater just before winter on my 06 & have been following all these oilburners out there who have added 2 stroke oil to their fuel for added lubricity & fuel economy ect.

I was wondering if anyone has anything to say on how that 2stroke oil may effect my espar heater if I choose to go that way. Should I stay away? or not worry about it.

Thanks.
M

From: Up North in the COLD.
have had my Espar in for almost 3 years now. Been putting the 2 stroke oil in for a year now. No problems with the Espar beacuse of it at all, and I use the Espar daily, even in the summer so I don't have to baby the truck because its cold. Hope this helps.

Cold Diesel, thanks for you input. 3year & no problems is probably good enough for me.

As for dealer install times-I think they are looking at 4-6hrs
