So i got my smarty today and was excited. i took my 6guin off bout 4 months ago so the power gain is insane. Anyway i go to lowes and may have "accidently" blown a "little" smoke into the open window of a dmax/allison. Long story short we got to a light and i looked over and saw an edge sticker on the window. I knew i was screwed and i was, he was bout a length ahead at 60mph. I just couldn't shift fast enough. Any suggestions, would swappin 3.73's for my 4.10's help me any. if so anybody wanna trade.

it was an auto. and i actually had a good run through the gears

 

My 2000 I had was a 6 speed that was built pretty good, and I had to shift it just perfect to beat my dads stock D-Max. Its pretty hard to row the gears against a allison auto. But now with my auto 05 he doesn't stand a chance!

keep it at WOT fast shift and dont let off throttle it will de fuel @ 3500 rpm but still boosting up your rig may not like it if you drive it like that all the time and 4.11 get you to speed quicker than 3.73gears but Ill trade mine to you

 

What level is the SMARTY set at?

just dont use all the gears i use 3rd 4th and 6th some times i go to 5th

 

my smarty is set to level 5. so drew dont let up....clutch or no clutch

 

quick clutch so you dont miss a gear
