Thumbs up Emblem Removal Advice

First off - thanks to everyone out there who posted pics of their trucks after removing the emblems. Loved the look so just had to do it to my 06 flame red sport model.

Used fishing line and then some adhesive remover and goo gone. Got to thinking that there had to be an easier way, then I remembered I had a eraser wheel that I used a a couple years ago to remove old pinstripes from my son's car. The eraser wheel worked like a champ. Made the job a breeze.

Got the eraser wheel at an automotive paint store for about $10 - $12. Highly recommend it. Well worth the money.

Good advice. The fishing line/dental floss thing works well if you use a heat gun to warm the adhesive. Did you use heat? It makes it much easier.

I gooped it up with go-gone, let it set for a few minute's, then they pealed right of with a plastic putty knife that's used for applying bondo. Then I took the eraser to it. I just love that eraser.

I have a pin stripe on my truck that I am considering removing to help me finish out the "black out" look. Do you have any other tips for removing the pin stripe? Just get an eraser wheel and get with it? Any other prep work etc. to it? Thanks for any advice on it.
