Boost leak or EGT probe may be going bad.

Not sure how long you've had the truck / guages...if either is relatively new, could just be the ambient temp change. My EGT's are definately up as it's 100* here in Phoenix....hotter egt's when accelerating and longer wait for shutdown...cruise isnt too much higher...definately a big change between winter / summer in my area.

It's prob the weather then...try to get an early morning start when it's cooler...and you should notice a drop....at least you could eliminate any other variable

it could be the new tranny......now that it actually is loading the engine up.

Or the bad news could be an injector sticking open.

air filter restrictions would also cause higher egt's

That is typical of a boost leak.... Higher EGT's and poorer fuel mileage.

You probably wouldn't be able to hear a small boost leak because the engine makes a lot of noise at higher RPM's and boost levels.

28psi is low for max boost on an '05 with a stock charger. You sig says you have a BDTD and an MP-8. You should be seeing over 40psi max with those turned up.

Air in or out, fuel in or out. Got to be one of those. K.I.S.S!

I got mine back from Don last week. He received them wednesday and shipped them out the following tuesday. Not too bad considering how long people wait for other vendors.
