edge or quadzilla

I am trying to decide which box to get and I am having trouble. there are so many options on the market it is unbelivable.

option 1 simple box ie edge ez or quadzilla xzt ( was leaning towards the quadzilla if anyone has any input there)

this option would give the ability to possibly keep my waranty if I pull it off if I have a problem.

I would like to run guages though and that drive the cost up probably like $600-650 total. I was going to get this dakata digital 3 in one guage. this would have warnings when parameters are out of range but no defueling or anything.

now for that money I could get the adjustable box with monitor off ebay. then my waranty is most like just gone I am assuiming as if something major goes wrong I am asuming they may find evidence of this being isntalled. was leaning towards the juice on this end of things.

so should I play it safe or just say screw it and get a box and monitor as the cost is going to be about the same. truck has 15k on it.

I got analog gauges for my truck, and when warranty is up, I'll get the quad box and air intake.

The Quadzilla XZT or the Edge EZ will both fill your needs pretty well.....Though I would lean toward the Quadzilla product so I could get one of his Monitors that is about to come out. See it Here

Can't beat the price on the Quadzilla stuff and his service record has been tremendous with all my customers. When the monitor becomes available shortly, we will be offering a package deal price on it with your choice of Xzillaraider box.

For all our customers that have already purchased a Quad box before the monitor becomes available, we will have a coupon available that will allow them to buy the Monitor at the "package" discount price" so everybody can enjoy the savings

NOBODY gets left out at DTR

Will the new Quad monitor allow you to adjust the power levels, or will it still be the same 3 levels adjustable with the old fashioned ****? It would be nice to see the Quad box(XZillaraider or Race) with 5 levels rather than 3.

Qzilla has been hinting at a new box that controls power levels and also the percentage of power you would get from timing duration and pressure. I would wait for that one. That being said, I have the race box and love it. I run on the 100 HP setting daily and get outstanding mileage (20-22). Kyle at Xtremediesel had been running a summer special on them and they were very reasonable.

FYI I just hooked up my quad race box today. I went with the quad Race box as it is only $50.00 more expensive than the XZT.

I did my home work on this one! It modifies boost, fuel pressure and timing, and delivers them all together in one package that is plug and play. I installed the thing in under an hour.

Wow, I was not prepared for the results!!

Thanks Quad I've never had a truck that ran like this EVER!!!

Get the quad. I have had some problems and they have been very good at fixing them. Bought here from the web site the price was and it also helps support it. Had a pressure regulator go out and the dealer has said a thing about the box

wear did you get the race box for $350? If I could get the race box for that I would probably go that route. they are like $490 on ebay and the xzt is $299.

It's the problem I've had with the CB since day one. I've called and talked to Jeremy and he said something about some foil tape and that he'd get back with me. That was 2-3 mons ago. After that I sent you an email just after you got back from somewhere???? vacation maybe. No response.
When I key the mike on my CB it will kill the truck also there is a surge issue going on with it as well.

Surging happens on all inline boxes some will admit it and some won't. I have Edge boxes on mine and it surges on cruise but only if the juice is on any level but 0. The EZ by itself won't. As far as the EMI with your CB, all that would need to be done is solder some EMI beads on the PCB to isolate the processor and maybe the power supply and it will fix your problem.

I don't think you could go wrong with either Edge or Quadzilla. Both have great products and great tech support/service.

The CB problem is actually not our problem. However we do know how to fix it. A bunch of the CB companys do not regulate the RF that they put out. This can also happen if you run a linear or a loud mouth or any type of amplifying device. This problem is not only related to us either, I have had several people ask us how to fix the problem with other products.

If you will call Jeremy and talk to him he will tell you the part # you need to buy at Radio Shack and that will fix your problem. We have had a few people with this problem and this has fixed every single one.

What surge problem do you have? We should not surge so if you are having a problem please tell us when, where and any other details we need to know.
