hi, I'm having some problems with my Edge in my 2006 Dodge 3500, up until a few days ago it was running fine now my Edge attitude is showing me sporadic EGT numbers while I'm in park. The numbers will go from like 350 which is about where I normally idle to like 800 or 900 or any in between. Does any one have any ideas??

last i heard edge was aware of the problems with the 06 units but had no cure.

 

The problems with the Edge on the '06 are with trucks built after June '06. It's part of their warning before you buy. Check your pyro and the wiring to it. Make sure it's not grounded.

 

I had a problem with EGT reading that I knew were not right. I called Edge and they sent me a new thermocouple at no charge. I installed it and have had no more problems.

The problems on the 06s have nothing to do with the egt readings. You have a bad temp probe. They will send you a new one.
