I had the EZ on my truck and never experienced any mileage increases....daily driving or towing. Power was great on the 2nd and 3rd settings. 1st setting was suppose to be the "Economy" setting...BS...no better really than stock power even when towing and no mileage.

Overall....really liked the box for the power increases but no mileage!

A friend of mine has the Quad Tow box (65HP non-adjustable box) on his 06 and he picked up almost 2 MPG on daily driving and towing. He's very happy with it!

So If I get your answer right the Quaz is the only one that will increase my fuel millage.

Is it anything that would do better than Quaz.

Just about ready to order one from EBAY at 250$ shipped

Let me know

Thanks

I truely regret my Quadzilla purchases this week!! I ran my "Outdated Edge EZ" for 30,000 miles with NO problems & my wife ran her Superchips Flashpaq for 10,000 miles but did have minor surging at highway speeds. I'm sick that after reading all the great things here about the XZT i sold my EZ & Superchips to upgrade, hahahahaha. My XZT's did not even make 1 full day on the trucks. Thankfully my dealer is working with me & putting us into 2 differant products. Great customer service on his end & this drives home the point 1 more time that you get what you pay for!!

Thumbs up

Not much to read on the other thread other than what everyone knows. Your products are the best, there are NO problems with them & your customers are idiots & are unable to hook up 2 wires. Not much more info needed or wanted. Thanks again.... your company got my money.

Did you not get your money back? I'm courious why your acting the way you are with your signature? If the product didn't work take it back. Quad does offer a 30 day money back policy.

Never said there was never an issue. Do some searching. Sure we have problems and if there is they can be solved immediately.

It is just interesting to have 2 boxes fail in an hour from the same guy, that all.

Like I said, the modules are mechanically looped at idle. Module is doing notta.

Never said anyone was an idiot?

I did not get your money, and it sounds like you will get your money back if you ask for it?

Luken, Are you talking about this truck that had the Quad box issue? He had a bad set of injectors that caused his problems?

I want to ad that i did purchase both boxes from a dealer who i buy many parts from. We are being credited our money & he has allready ordered 2 differant products that he recommends for each year truck. He mentioned that he sell's MANY Quad products but he has had a few bad ones, not many but a few. The 2006 XZT i purchased is bad.... no way around it, the 2003 XZT may be OK?? I'm just not happy how it performed, the surging, engine noises etc. & mainly the serious issues i'm having with the 2006 XZT.

I truely wish both boxes worked as advertised & before the 2006 XZT box crapped out it did pull pretty good. I was happy & proceeded to install the box on my 2003 with less than stellar results??

I'm sure Quad has good customer service & it's nice to see them on the board here. I'm just 1 customer who is speaking TRUTHFULLY about 2 XZT boxes purchased. Flame me, bash me, throw me off the board, i do not care!! I think the quality of the product could be a little better, better products used to make it?? Raise the price a little & mount your electronics in a real box? Take care of the wiring issues at the connectors? Use a nice wire loom or sheilding? I can't speak for any other Quad products other than the 2 XZT boxes i purchased. It is there entry level product at a good price & hopefully there higher priced products are more in line with the competition??

I always open for suggestions on how to make a better products, so give me some ideas.

The wiring harness passes ISO2001 specs and uses wire and loom that is rated for 125 deg C so that it is auto spec. Actually it is the same wire and same loom that Chrysler uses on your stock truck.

You cannot buy any better electronics? They are all extended temperature industrial parts. We keep it inside so it is easy to use, check and mess with if the need arises.

I really want to hear where you quality gripes come from?
